Best Friend Gifts
Holiday Hot Chocolate In A Jar For Your Best Friend
A great gift for your best friend is hot chocolate in a jar. Who doesn't love hot chocolate, especially during the winter time? This gift is very easy to create and your best friend will love the fact that you made something homemade for them.
A 6 pack box hot chocolate mix (I suggest Ghirardelli but any brand will do)
A bag of mini marshmallows
1 coffee filter
A decorative stamp (holiday themed is suggested)
Plastic wrap
A 2' x 5" label
A piece of ribbon or raffia string Instructions: Make sure and thoroughly clean the mason jar and dry completely. Fill the mason jar full with the hot chocolate mix. Then place a small piece of plastic wrap on top of the hot chocolate mix. Now fill the jar the rest of the way with the mini marshmallows. Screw the top on the mason jar. Next what you want to do is take the decorative stamp and stamp the coffee filter all over in random places. (If you happen to be an artist, you can draw little holiday characters all over the coffee filter or one large one in the center of the filter. Place the coffee filter on top of the closed jar. Take the ribbon or raffia string and tie the filter at the neck of the jar. Last, before placing the label on the jar, you want to write it out. Write something your best friend's name and a cute little title (i.e. Mary's Special Hot Chocolate Mix.) Whether your best friend is will love the hot chocolate and the fact that you took the time out and made something special for them.
