Birthday Gifts For Dad Shopping for dad is sometimes not an easy thing to do, this holiday season try and tune into his inner child to pick a great gift dad will love. Most men will go gaga over anything that lights up, moves, or makes noise. Sound familiar? Oh the big babies in our lives. However, Radio Shack has all of the above and more. Radio Shack and RadioShack.com has a full line of all things high-tech. Cell phones and mp3 players, laptops and GPS systems, you're sure to find something great. They're even offering free ground shipping on a lot of their products until 12/24/2010!

This year my husband is getting an Ipad. He's been hinting at it since his birthday in September, so we are heading to the Apple store! Apple Ipads retail for around $499 and up, but if your dad already has one or that is not within your budget; Apple has some other great gadgets as well. The Ipod Nano is super cute and super cool. It comes with a clip, perfect for dad's long morning run, and its lithium battery gives you 24hrs of continuous play. It retails for $149.

Okay so if you're looking for something a little more budget friendly, then head over to your local Walmart and Kmart. Both stores have all of the above, with the only exception being that Kmart doesn't carry the Ipad. Here are a few items any dad would love. A blue ray player, new flat screen TV, Xbox Kinect, Nintendo Wii, or a home theater. My husband is a video gamer and as most men, he can't resist playing a good video game. Xbox Kinect and Nintendo Wii are both fabulously fun options the whole family can enjoy! We'll just say "it's for dad". Walmart and Kmart's prices are equally matched, however Walmart has site to store and Kmart has lay- away. It's really a matter of preference.

Another store my husband can't seem to stay out of is Brookstone. Brookstone has a great selection of unique electronic gizmos. Neck massagers and massage chairs, wine openers, cool fish tanks, and grill gadgets, you can find something wonderful for not that much moolah. One of the neatest things I've seen at my local Brookstone recently was a remote control sofa pillow! It takes laziness or relaxation, whichever you prefer, to a whole new level!

Lastly, if the dad in your life is a hobby buff, then my local favorite is Colpar Hobbies in Aurora, CO. They have an extensive range of beginner to expert model cars, planes, trucks, boats, or anything else you can think of. When my husband and our son enter this shops door, they can easily spend hours inside. What do they walk out with? A remote control truck you couldn't find anywhere else, and a realistic remote control helicopter for $200! Bottom line is if a hobby is your dad's thing, then this is the place. They have tons of fun items to keep dad busy and it's sure to make him smile.

okay, so my dads birthday is next weekend. i'm fifteen years old and i want to make him something really sweet... my mom and two older brothers are buying him stuff but i want to make him something since it means a lot more, and if i buy him something i'll just be using his own money anyways :P anyways, i just wanna do something for him reeaaally creative. do you guys have anything that you've done or heard of for a birthday, or fathers day. open to new and creative ideas! thanks
